Our Dad, Paul absolutely loved Kale greens. He loved nothing better than "making a pot of kale greens with a ham bone." The thing is that the Kale was cooked to the point of not having any true green, and the Kale was tasty but a dark dark green. Well, today, Kale is the in veggie and is on menus in all the hip places. Kale salad, Kale chips, Kale smoothies and even Kale used in desserts. So, today, we honor our Father and founder of Paul's with a fresh twist on Kale. Sorry Dad, we know you would want your classic pot of Kale, but we are making a healthy raw salad, massaging the Kale with a wonderful fresh vinaigrette and slivers of roasted pine nuts and freshly grated parmesan cheese. Here's to all Dads today, Happy Father's day, raise a little Kale today!
