
Today marks the first day of September and it's time to take the Produce Challenge and try to eat a variety of fresh flavors each day. It's so easy to get into a rut and grab something packaged which often contains preservatives, sugar and loaded calories. Grab an apple or try to create a challenge and have different fresh produce on hand. When we create conscious healthy challenges with goals in mind, we look forward to meeting them and then they very often become part of our healthy lifestyle. Take it from me, I have been adding more exercise and more produce to my day and feel much more energy. Make sure to wash the produce and stay hydrated too. Who's up for the Produce Challenge! Create a list and try a different fruit or veggie each day.
