I am sure many of you remember Burger's Market. You may also know that they closed their doors in March of this year. As a family owned business we are sad to see it go. We all read and hear so much about buying locally and yet we have, here in Louisville, long standing family owned businesses closing.
We remember fondly our Barret Avenue location which housed not only Paul's Fruit Market but also Lawrence's Meat Market. Phil, my brother and company President, has long wanted to have a butcher shop again. Well, now we do. We have hired Burger's butchers and have opened a meat counter at our Shelbyville Road location shown above. Ernie, from Burger's, is on the left and Phil is on the right. Stop in and shop.
