Today is National Ice Cream Day. I never knew this and many people I have mentioned this too tell me that every day should be Ice Cream Day. Growing up, a special summer time treat was making home-made ice cream the old fashioned hand crank way. Since we had seven children in my family, there were plenty of hands to turn the crank. Our Father, Paul love peach ice cream and butter pecan too. I hope you will treat yourself to an ice cream today, even if it is a small scoop. Celebrate, it is National Ice Cream Day.
