Watermelon

6-14-2012  | Mary Hartman

It is watermelon time. Before you know it July 4th will be here. One of the classic foods served on the 4th is watermelon. Watermelon has changed a lot during my time here at Paul's. We used to get truckloads of watermelons that would be cushioned with hay in an open top trailer. Unloading them was an arduous task. Now, families are smaller and we all want smaller, seedless watermelons. Unloading is easy. They were good then, they are good now. Ice cold, crunchy, juicy watermelon. Click here pvedesign.com and open the blog to see a charming photo of watermelon and other "stuff" you may like just as much as watermelon!
